BRAZIL

ACF sent a grant to Casa Rufugio in Belo Horizonte, a Christian home for children with HIV/AIDS. Each child in residence receives food, shelter, and compassionate care in the home, including medical treatments, schooling, and social assistance toward adoption.

CAMBODIA

ACF provided financial support to John Bills, a leading Christian educator on ministering to people with HIV/AIDS. During the year he trained 2,000 individuals (medical workers, ministers, teachers, and youth leaders) in Switzerland, Cambodia, Uganda, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as in Florida, Colorado, and Hawaii.

EL SALVADOR

ACF shipped a sea container filled with medical supplies worth $621,000 to Fundacion Nuevos Horizontes Para Los Pobres in San Salvador to benefit families living in extreme need.

KENYA

ACF supported the caregiving ministries of the He Intends Victory orphanage for HIV/AIDS–afflicted children at Eldoret. Currently 20 boys and girls are being care for in a loving Christian environment.

LIBERIA

ACF provided grants to World-Wide Missions of Liberia for treatment of patients at its clinic in Buchanan.

MALAYSIA

ACF supported the operation of the Herb Hall men’s Home in Kuala Lumpur, which is devoted to the care of men—mostly teenagers and young adults—suffering from HIV/AIDS.

THAILAND

ACF partnered with the Mike Hylton Home in Petchabun, providing care for 20 women and children with HIV/AIDS.

UGANDA

ACF supported the operation of the Terry Duffy Home, a half-acre compound in Jinja, designed to shelter and treat HIV-infected women and children. Currently there are 12 residents, most of them widows or orphans who are utterly destitute and shunned by society.

UNITED STATES

ACF provided financial support for outreach programs of He Intends Victory, a Christian ministry to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Educational, prevention, individual counseling and support group programs are active in 18 states plus the District of Columbia and in 13 nations.
